Mechanics
The authors have established this site to provide supplemental material for their book on tissue mechanics that was published by Springer on the third of November, 2006. Springer has allowed us to place downloadable forms of the first two chapters on this website.
PowerPoint presentations for each of the book’s chapters are (or in the case of three chapters, will be) posted on this website. These PowerPoint files will be updated each time the relevant material is taught by the authors or people using or reviewing the material make suggestions.
The authors would very much appreciate any corrections, comments, suggestions of material to be included (or excluded) and suggested problems with solutions for use as either examples or problems at the end of sections. Please email these materials to steve@cowin.us. We are maintaining a record of corrections, suggested additions, suggested (HW) problems with solutions to be made available here (except for the problem solutions that, like to the solutions manual for the text, will be available only for bona fide instructors using the text.) It is anticipated that new, additional chapters on soft tissue topics will be posted here soon.
